Charity Shops

The impact of donations to our charity shops and the sale of these items can never be underestimated as it makes up at least 60% of the shortfall on our annual budgeted income.

Whether you donate your 2nd hand goods, or buy from us, or whether you volunteer to work in our shops, it all adds up and helps to keep our hospice’s doors open so that we can continue with the services we provide.

We opened our first Charity Shop on the 1st June 2018. The flagship shop is situated in the Stats Building in Fore Street (near the Boulevard end) in New Redruth in Alberton. The 2nd shop is situated in Voortrekker Road opposite the Nevada Centre.

For the charity shops to continue to grow, Stepping Stone Hospice is dependent on the public to donate all their unwanted goods. You may believe your donation is not worth much, for us, it is immeasurable.
